Itamar Martinez- Bio

Born in Cuba 1973, I lived in Portugal from 1982-1989. Miami 1989-1992 and Tampa my home since 1992. With creativity and innovative ideas I have been in business for myself in different business ventures since age 16. For 8 years was an auto mechanic, for 10 years was a financial representative and now for the last 15 years I’ve been working in the legal field with a lawyer referral service.

I have been involved in several projects in the Tampa Bay Community.

- Served as founder and president  of La Liga Latina, a non-for-profit organization that provided guidance and support to the Hispanic Community.

-From 2012-2018 I served as a member of the Board of Directors with the Hillsborough County Sheriff Hispanic Advisory Council, helping with Public Relations between the Sheriff’s Office and the Hispanic Community.

-I was the Membership Chair for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, helping business owners integrate and expand their businesses into the Hispanic community.

-Operated a personal business, Su Consejero Hispano, LLC providing guidance and support for Hispanics in the areas of Personal Finances, Personal Growth and Motivation via Seminars, Personal Training and Nutrition, Business Marketing and Promotions.

-Since 2010 I own and operate a Lawyer Referral Services called La Liga Latina Legal,LLC.

-I also own and operate a medical marketing and advertising business called Legalmed Network LLC

-I also own and operate Centro De Ayuda Hispano,LLC. It is basically a resource center for Hispanics that are looking for guidance and help for anything from finding a job, housing, paying utilities, victims of different crimes, issues with their children in school, etc. We receive around 2,000 calls per year people looking for help or guidance.

As a hobby for 3 years, I was a radio personality with Edwin Flores and July-July in Super Q1300am with the radio show El Can Bachatero every Sunday from 1-3pm and also had a morning TV fitness segment on MIRA TV for 1 year.   

I have the belief  that, with a positive attitude and a plan of action, even during challenging times anything can be achieved. I have two adult daughters so I want to leave a better legacy for them in the Tampa Bay area.

I own a Lawyer Referral Business legally known as a Qualified Provider Business Registered with The Florida Bar with a group of 16 bilingual attorneys that handle most types of legal matters. My referral is free!
